“Don’t See the Point” is a conceptual work that examines the limits of perception and the duality of meaning. The word point – referring both to “meaning” and to a physical dot – is translated into a sequence of black circles resembling Braille on a flat canvas.
Yet the essential tactile quality of Braille is deliberately absent: a blind viewer cannot feel the inscription, while a sighted viewer cannot read it. As a result, no one truly “sees the point”, neither literally nor metaphorically.
